No. Dragon Router is built for self-setup. Plug it in, place it near a window, wait for the status light to turn solid, then join the WiFi name printed on the label. Most people are online in under ten minutes, and no technician visit or property work is needed.
How many devices can connect?
Up to 128 devices at the same time, spread across three WiFi bands. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports handle wired gear such as TVs, desktops, cameras and outbuilding links. That is enough headroom for a busy household, a small office or a property with lots of smart devices.
How fast is Dragon Router?
Dragon Router has no artificial speed cap. Actual speeds are network-dependent and determined by your local Verizon 5G/4G LTE signal strength, congestion, and location. In strong coverage areas, real-world speeds may exceed 300 Mbps.

No. Core 100 service is month-to-month with no annual term. The router is $99 paid in full, or you can split it into 2, 3 or 4 monthly payments, and it is yours to keep after six months of active service; cancel earlier and it must be returned in good condition or an equipment fee applies, plus any unpaid router installments become due.
Can I pay for the router over time?
Yes. At checkout you can pay $99.00 once, or split the router into 2 payments of $50.00 ($100.00 total), 3 payments of $34.67, $34.67 and $34.66 ($104.00 total), or 4 payments of $28.50 ($114.00 total). Your first router payment and the first month of Core 100 service ($99.95) are charged together on the day you order. Remaining router payments are billed monthly with your service and stop automatically once the plan is paid off. Shipping is billed in full on the first charge. Core 100 service is unchanged at $99.95 per month for as long as you keep it.
Is Dragon Router a Starlink alternative?

The Dragon Router is a 5G and 4G LTE gateway. Instead of a cable, a phone line or fiber, it pulls internet out of the air from nearby Verizon towers.
A SIM inside the unit connects to the strongest band available at your address. The router then turns that cellular signal into WiFi 7 across three bands, plus four wired Ethernet ports.
Nothing is buried, drilled or trenched. You need power and usable cellular signal. That is the whole install.
